This meditation cushion is 13 cm high, the standard size, and therefore the most common meditation cushion. It is the ideal height for many people and also a recommended height for beginners.
The Yogisha meditation cushions are made of super strong, durable organic cotton. The cushions are filled with buckwheat chaff, a relatively light but sturdy natural material. The outer cover contains an inner cover made of finer cotton, which prevents the pillow from dust.
Both covers have a zipper. Refilling is therefore a matter of opening two zippers: a piece of cake. Separate refill bags with buckwheat chaff are also available at Yogisha. The outer cover is (hand) washable.
Our meditation cushions are handmade in an honest and sustainable manner in a Dutch workshop. They are of excellent quality, carefully finished, and produced with locally sourced raw materials. This makes our meditation cushions a bit more expensive than most meditation cushions you find online, which are usually imported from India. At Yogisha we try to have as many products made close to home as possible. This allows us to guarantee quality and burden the environment as little as possible.
