Material
100% TENCEL™ Lyocell
TENCEL lyocell is made from eucalyptus from sustainably managed forests. With a chemical process, wood pulp is turned into soft yet very strong fibres. The resulting fabric is lightweight, super soft on the skin, breathable and keeps you cool. Moreover, it's easy to wash and completely biodegradable.

Sustainability
Iron Roots was founded in 2017 by three friends who were fed up with the fact that almost all sports wear is made from plastic. When they looked for alternatives, they could not find any, so they decided to take matters into their own hands. Iron Roots makes sports wear that does not release any micro-plastics. This means that no small bits of polluting plastics are released with every washing. In addition, Iron Roots sports wear is produced with 60% less CO2 than conventional polyester sports wear.
To ensure that all Iron Roots clothing is produced in a fair way, they work with GOTS-certified factories in Portugal and Greece. These factories are audited regularly and Iron Roots can say with certainty that they are devoted to fair production standards.
