These shorts are made from 100% Tencel™, a lightweight, breathable wood-based fabric that feels soft against the skin. This fabric is not only antistatic and antibacterial, but also keeps your body cooler, making it ideal for warm conditions or a more intensive yoga class. The material is light, breathable and feels soft against the skin. The shorts have a soft elastic waistband and pockets with a zipper.

54% Tencel™ Lyocell, 56% Tencel™ Modal

TENCEL is made from tree fibers from European FSC-certified forests. With a chemical process, wood pulp is converted into super soft and yet very strong fibers. The light fabric is soft against the skin, breathable, extremely light and keeps you wonderfully cool. In addition, Tencel is easy to wash and completely biodegradable.

Sustainability

Iron Roots was founded in 2017 by three friends who were tired of almost all sportswear being made of plastic. When they started looking for alternatives, they couldn't find them, so they decided to take matters into their own hands. Iron Roots makes sportswear that does not release microfibers (a form of microplastic). This means that no small pieces of polluting plastics are released with every wash. In addition, 60% less CO2 is emitted during production compared to polyester clothing.

To ensure that all Iron Roots clothing is produced in a fair way, GOTS-certified factories (in Portugal and Greece) have been selected. These factories are visited on a regular basis, ensuring that Iron Roots is committed to fair manufacturing standards.
