Sustainability

Funky Simplicity uses a mix of 90% cotton and 10% lycra from Indonesia for all items. Sanne, the founder of Funky Simplicity, discovered this cotton lycra in Bali in 1994 and was so impressed by the quality and craftsmanship that she had a pair of leggings made for herself. In 2001 the Funky Simplicity brand was born. All clothing is still made in the same factory in Bali, run by a local family. All fabrics are printed by hand there and the clothing is sewn on site under good working conditions and for a fair wage.
