Cotton is breathable and feels soft on the skin. The addition of Lycra ensures that the material moves easily with you and that it retains its shape, even after prolonged wear and frequent washing.

Sustainability

Funky Simplicity uses a mix of 90% cotton and 10% lycra from Indonesia for all items. Sanne, the founder of Funky Simplicity, discovered this cotton lycra in Bali in 1994 and was so impressed by the quality and craftsmanship that she had a pair of leggings made for herself. In 2001, the Funky Simplicity brand was born. All clothing is still made in the same factory in Bali, run by a local family. All fabrics are printed there by hand and the clothing is sewn on site under good working conditions and for a fair salary.
