Product description
Liforme produces innovative and unique yoga mats, designed to enhance your practice. Whether you practice Hatha, Ashtanga, Vinyasa flow, or Iyengar (or any other form of yoga), the Liforme mats give you that little bit extra with every breath and posture. Years of research, designing, and re-designing have led to the creation of the Liforme mat with unparalleled grip and the unique AlignForMe yoga asana alignment system.
7 reasons why yogis love the Liforme yoga mat:
1. Made by Yogis – for Yogis
Throughout the design process, Liforme sought advice and inspiration from some of the best yogis in the yoga cosmos. This insider perspective ensures that the design seamlessly meets your needs on the mat.
2. Perfectionist quality
Perfectionism is a conservative term at Liforme. Every detail has been worked out down to the last detail to guarantee optimal quality.
3. Unique AlignForMe system
The unique and revolutionary AlignForMe system works as a navigation system for your yoga practice. You no longer have to search or guess for the right alignment, the marks and lines on the mat give you as much, or as little, guidance as you need. The print is discreet so that it does not distract you when you are completely absorbed in your flow.
4. Super firm grip
Patanjali was right when he said, “Sthira Sukham Asanam” (Asana is a stable, comfortable posture). One of the most important functions of a yoga mat is to provide grip. Slipping on the mat can make your practice very ineffective and disruptive, or even dangerous. To solve this annoying problem, Liforme has developed a new treatment of natural rubber that provides good grip even when wet! Feeling is believing.
5. Extra support, stability, and padding
Everyone knows it, in some postures protruding bones touch the floor, and that doesn't feel good. These parts of the body (hips and knees, for example) must be well protected, Liforme believes. That's why they used a strong type of natural rubber and added a layer of felt between the top and bottom layer of the mat. This provides extra padding but still remains a sturdy and solid surface for your practice.
6. Wider and longer
A little bit makes a big difference! This mat is 8 centimeters wider and 5 centimeters longer than the most common mats. This makes this mat perfect for those who are a bit wider or taller, or for yogis who simply like a little more space.
7. Good for the planet, good for your body
Liforme tries to be as environmentally friendly as possible, while also considering which materials are pleasant for your body. That's why natural rubber is used to produce the mats, and the AlignForMe pattern is etched into the mat instead of printed with potentially harmful ink. Furthermore, the different layers of the Liforme mat are fused together using heat, so no glue is used in production. The mat is also PVC-free, and therefore completely free of unnatural or harmful materials.

Material
Natural rubber, free from PVC or other harmful substances
Rubber yoga mats are 99% latex free, and safe for most people with latex sensitivity. In case of a very severe allergy, contact with the mat is not recommended.
Maintenance
It is important that the Liforme yoga mat does not come into contact with oil. That is why we recommend cleaning the mat with a mild soap instead of mat wash. After every 5 to 7 uses, clean the mat as follows:
- Clean the mat with a small drop of mild dishwashing soap and water. Use a damp, soft sponge and not too much water.
- Let the mat dry flat in the shade.
- Roll up the Liforme mat with the colored side on the outside and store the mat at room temperature.
With rubber mats it is very important to keep them away from sunlight, both direct and indirect. The UV radiation in sunlight attacks the rubber and causes it to discolour and dry out. In addition, it is also wise not to expose your mat to extremely high temperatures.
