How do you use a yoga strip?
As someone who works a lot at a computer, I know all too well how annoying neck problems can be. Luckily I discovered the Yoga Strip.

As someone who works a lot at a computer, I know all too well how annoying neck problems can be. Luckily I discovered the Yoga Strip. This clever piece of rubber looks fairly insignificant, but is ideal when it comes to relieving tension and stiffness in my shoulders, upper back and neck. A Yoga Strip can also provide relief for your lower back and pelvis.
A Yoga strip is a mini retreat in my own home. When I feel my neck starting to protest after a long day at work, I pull out my Yoga Strip and give myself a few minutes of pure relaxation. The instructions for use are simple: you use the Strip folded single or double and place it under your spine. Your shoulder blades will naturally sink around it, creating space in your back and spine. It will feel strange the first few times, but soon you will feel 'nice and loose' afterwards.
The Yoga Strip is specifically aimed at the areas that often bother me. Neck complaints, high in the back. Sometimes this can even lead to a nagging headache that no paracetamol can help with, or worse: a migraine. There are few solutions that you can apply yourself for neck complaints. But with the Yoga Strip! I mainly use the Yoga Strip after The Primary Series, but you can of course use the Yoga Strip whenever it suits you. There are some videos on YouTube that provide more specific instructions and make it a separate session.
An additional advantage is that because you feel looser in your neck and back, you automatically walk upright again.
If, like me, you suffer from neck complaints due to a lot of computer work, sitting or work where you hold your neck in the wrong position, then I can really recommend the Yoga Strip. It's a simple and effective way to give yourself some relief and also improve your posture.
